The Sue Suters Ovarian Cancer Fund was established by her friends after her death in October 2010. It was felt that her memory should live on and do some good for those stricken by this horrendous disease.
In 2011 we set out to apply for the necessary permits to become a charitable fund. In June of that year the inaugural general meeting was held and a board of directors was elected.
Late in 2010 it was suggested that a Charity Golf Day should be held to honour Sue. This led to the first Golf Day in November 2011.
Our charter is simple, to help families. We will, were possible, help with transport to and from treatments. We can provide help with house cleaning or lawn mowing. These small tasks will give the family more time together and relieves some of the financial burden.
We have relatively small overheads as most of the work is done by dedicated friends of Sue
